What to do now that you’ve been referral to mental health.
Here’s what I can tell you:
—Regardless of your security clearance, without your written permission or a court order signed by a judge, I can’t even tell people you’re a client. I will be required to sent updates on your treatment to your referring provider. However, you and I will discuss these updates. These updates DO NOT include specifics about what we’ve discussed in therapy. They generally include:
- Your current diagnosis.
- Type of therapy we are using.
- Your progress to date.
—You’ll need a referral from your MTF to get this paid by Tricare. Dependents DO NOT need a referral.
—If you PCS or go on orders to another duty station in another state, and are living on post, I can continue to see you.
